At Joy of Home, our home furnishings are designed to complement our custom work that brings your space to life, including your newly upholstered sofa, the cushion on your window seat, or the new drapes in your bedroom.
We offer in-house pillows, soft throws, sustainable rugs, and reupholstered furniture that is found and rehabilitated with care, right here in Vermont.

Every pillow at Joy of Home is designed in our shop and made locally, usually from fabric remnants and discontinued samples, which means each one is a little bit one-of-a-kind.
Squares, lumbars, and rounds. Patterns that play well together, neutrals that ground a room, and the occasional fabric you can't live without.

Throws for every season
Year-round, we carry alpaca throws from Shupaca Alpaca. Naturally soft, naturally warm, and sustainable in solids and patterns.
In the colder months, we add thick and cozy Merino wool throws by Native Naturals in muted tones and quiet patterns. In summer, take home a colorful, sustainable cotton throw made from upcycled fibers and an outdoor-friendly throw made from recycled plastic, both by In2Green.

Rugs from natural fibers
Our rugs come from Divya Living, a small line of natural-fiber rugs made sustainably and ethically. Mostly wool, with some linen and jute in the mix. Wool is the predominant fiber in these earthy-toned rugs, but you will also find jute and linen.
Now offering a Porch collection of soft, recycled plastic rugs that can be used indoors or in covered outdoor areas.
We keep a limited number of rugs ready to take home, plus a full collection of samples you can borrow. Order in standard sizes, or request a custom size made just for the room, stairs or hallway you have in mind.

Reupholstered Finds
When we come across a beautiful piece of furniture that's ready for a second (or third) life, we let our creativity shine.
We choose fabrics that are gorgeous (and even a little fun) and have each piece updated with new inserts, new seat support, or whatever else it needs to live another few decades.
You never know what you'll find in the shop and that's kind of the point.
